After a year of using a BOOX tablet for reading PDFs and academic papers, I’ve decided to replace my Kindle with a BOOX Palma.
The main reasons for this switch are the smaller form factor, which makes it more convenient for reading on the go, the ability to install apps that give me access to my public library subscription and a vast selection of e-books, and, most importantly, the freedom from being locked into Amazon’s ecosystem and pricing
